Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation Makes $240,000 Grant to CTA for Remote Patient Monitoring Projects

The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation (GBMF) has made a $240,000 grant to the Center for Technology and Aging’s RPM diffusion program, launched earlier this year. This generous grant enables CTA to add two dynamic RPM diffusion projects to the five that were funded in July. Center Blog

Ageing International Spotlight: “Perceptions, Preferences and Acceptance of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Older Adult Community Care in Ireland: A Case-Study and Ranked Care Program Analysis”

Kieran Walsh and Aoife Callan present a case-study and ranked care program analysis of community care in Ireland to examine the perceptions and preferences of older adults (as current care users) and the general population (as prospective care users) of ICT. The research uses a mixed-method approach, involving four case-studies of community care sites for older people and focus group discussions and 60 face-to-face exploratory survey interviews with a general population sample.
