Webinar: Return on Investment for Remote Patient Monitoring – Call for Participants in a California HealthCare Foundation National Study

8/28/13

The Center for Connected Health (CCH) and the Center for Technology and Aging (CTA) are seeking organizations with established remote patient monitoring (RPM) programs to participate in a national study of the Return on Investment (ROI) of RPM using their own organization’s program data. This initiative is the first large scale, in-depth analysis of multiple health care providers to determine the ROI of Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) interventions using a new ROI tool. Developed with support from the California HealthCare Foundation, this web-based ROI Tool is an interactive, user-friendly program designed to help health care organizations evaluate the financial impact and return on investment for RPM based on the costs and outcomes associated with their programs.

A free one-hour webinar on the ROI Tool, National Study and Beta Testing Process is scheduled for September 12 from 10:00am to 11:00am PDT (1:00pm to 2:00pm EDT). The webinar will feature insights into the creation and use of the ROI tool, results to date, and how to participate in a national ROI study of remote patient monitoring and beta test the ROI tool. CCH and CTA will also discuss the key drivers of a positive ROI and how to optimize RPM program design.
